This is one of those easy to make shots that can really light up a party! But don’t just take it from me try one out for yourself and let us know what you think. For those of you who this may be the first time they have decided to mix fire with their drinking I have two tips. First and foremost, for the love of god do NOT take this shot when it is still on fire. If you need me to explain why that is, maybe you should rethink drinking… you need all of the brain cells you were given. Second and almost (but not exactly) as important if you decide to take a few selfies with your flaming Firecracker shot please please please give it some time to cool. Glass can heat up quick! Nothing ruins a good night like a burnt tongue.
Don’t worry if you are missing that cool little gizmo they have, you can simply layer the shot by carefully tilting the glass and allowing the Rum to pour in from the side. Make sure to use the side of the shot glass as a slide for the rum and pour slowly.
Firecracker Shot Recipe:
- 3/4 oz. Cinnamon Schnapps (Goldschlager)
- 1/4 oz. Overproof Rum (151)
- Cinnamon Powder
Drink Responsibly. MAKE SURE YOU BLOW OUT THE SHOT FIRST! DO NOT TAKE WHEN ON FIRE! (I can not stress this enough)
